At LSCA, we have successfully organized numerous cultural events that have not only promoted local art but also fostered community engagement and education around our unique heritage.

Through our initiatives, we have achieved increased awareness and appreciation of Lahaul-Spiti’s rich cultural landscape amongst both residents and visitors.

Our Journey Through Time

Founded in 2010, Lahaul Spiti Cultural Association has been pivotal in preserving the cultural identity of the region, having organized various programs and workshops to educate and enlighten individuals about our heritage.

Year 2024

In 2010, LSCA was established to focus on preserving and promoting the rich cultural identity of the Lahaul-Spiti region.

Year 2023

By 2012, the association hosted its first major cultural festival, drawing attention to local artisans and traditional practices.

Year 2022

In 2015, LSCA expanded its outreach by launching educational workshops aimed at teaching local language and customs to younger generations.

Year 2021

In 2018, LSCA partnered with regional governments to initiate community-driven projects aimed at sustainable cultural tourism.
